Lainie is a partner who practises exclusively in the area of immigration law. She advises her clients on all matters relating to Canadian immigration law and U.S. NAFTA immigration issues. Her clients include senior executives, individuals, entertainers and athletes, as well as institutions, large multinational organizations, entrepreneurial and family-held businesses.


Lainie advises clients with respect to obtaining work permits for business and professional opportunities in Canada. She also assists in making applications for permanent residence in Canada based on the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canada Experience Class, Business Immigration and Family Class categories. Additionally, Lainie routinely uses the provisions of NAFTA to assist Canadian and Mexican clients seeking entry to the U.S. She regularly submits files to Canadian Embassies around the world and U.S. Embassies in Canada.
